Incorporate raster data (image) with M4P v4.0?

Post by terje » Wed Feb 17, 2010 3:10 pm

According to release notes for M4P v. 4.0, it should be possible to incorporate raster data (images and photographics) in the design, by mean of the included MEDRASTER Colour add-on module.

I prepared a .jpeg image in the Master project, but couldn't find out how to do incorporate it on a Medusa drawing. Trying to open this file type was'nt allowed, and the the File>Import didn't show any option. On the Licenses menu the Raster backdrop and the other was greyed out, and no response on Show licenses.

Any hints?

The license being grey means you have the license. To load the raster use the top left tool in the raster tooltray usually the 4th tab in the toolbox

Oh, it was there, thank you - now it workes.

The MEDRaster manual isn't listed among the M4P documentation. Is it possibly available somewhere else to download?

Yes. fine. And by mean of the Medusa Help menu, I found out that Medusa Help contains both HTML and PDF manuals, MEDRaster (Image) included:
