Converting to Medusa4 from AutoCAD

Post by fester225 » Sun Nov 04, 2007 6:14 pm

I've been using AutoCAD for a few years and need help converting to Medusa4.
I can draw lines/circles to a given length/size, but can't draw them vertically and horizontally (Ortho).
The index at the back of one of the manuals showed an Ortho icon, which I can't find on the Medusa4 desktop.
I also can't get lines to connect at specific points. (Attaching lines at the cardinal points of circles was a nice function in AutoCAD.)
How do I draw in Ortho and attach at cardinal points on circles?

Ortho - you could use construction lines
Or you can use the Protractor tool in the utilities menu

Not sure what you mean by the Cardinal points
Full circles in Medusa have 2 points 1 at the centre and 1 on the circumference
Medusa has probe selections for the centre of a circle and tangent points
