Customization

You can not set a default directory for open/save at present. As for the template sheets they are below the install point in med2d\m2d\sheets

MEDUSA is mainly used in a 32bit setting so it is likely the path is not correct for running a 32 bit program on a 64 bit machine. Below the install point will be a directory master_project in there a file called login you can edit the path setting there to include the 32 lib directory.

You probably have version 4.0 which create a symbolic link in medsys/med/share below the install point. This needs to be changed to point to the 32 bit libtiff

Opening old Medusa 6 sheets in Windows

No, it only goes back to version 12 as well. To do anything you will need an old version of MEDUSA for the platform the sheets were created on and a machine that can run it.

Cannot install on Ubuntu

My guess is that you have used su to get root access in a shell. This can give problems accessing the X display. You could try using the command

xhost +

to remove the security. Alternative login as root directly.

It’s possible run Medusa4 on iMac?.

If you are talking about your MEDUSA license then just request a new one for the new MAC address. MEDUSA is not directly support on Mac OS but yiou could use a product like Virtual box to running linux and then bring the display back to Mac using X windows

Dotted line prints as solid

The personel version is restricted in what you can customised. It is probably easier just to print to PDF then print the PDF. T
