Installing on Linux Mint 13 - 64 bit

If you've been using the CAD-Schroer menu to start Medusa try running /master_project/startmedusa in a terminal window. That should give you a better idea of what's going wrong.

I suspect one or both of the 32-bit compatability library or the C-shell hasn't been installed on your system (yet).

Medusa 4 Personal Sheet Metal Add-on

The full-price version can. I don't think the Personal version has any access to the Sheet Metal capabilities.

Connect and clear lines

This comment is not based on knowledge of how this function works inside Medusa, but just on drawing a few lines and poking around in 5.0.1PL. It seems to be important to have the order of the points in the lines arranged so that they follow each other. For example, the first point in line 2 must be...

Medusa4Persoanl will not Start on Kubuntu 11.10

This doesn't help directly, but I've just installed on Fedora FC16 (the latest) and it's running fine, so it not something that's changed recently in KDE. That's a 32-bit system, but I've been using it with 64-bit Kubuntu 9.10, also fine. (Same processor, two different disks, same licence file.) See...

Take a look at the FAQ on the CAD Schroer Homepage. You will find a guide for 64-Bit installation. That´s the road you need to take.

Tool Tips not readable

I just looked at the current retail version of MEDUSA4 and they fixed this problem. The theme in ubuntu causes this strange behaviour. Wait for the next Medusa Personal and it will be fixed.
