All I can say is that there is a mis-match between the GTK that Medusa expects to find and what comes with Ubuntu 12.10 On Ubuntu 10.04 running here the menuproxies/libappmenu.so does not exist, but Medusa runs fine. So it must be a part of the GTK installation that is looking for it rather than som...
