Re: Linie/Segment unterteilen

Tracing lines over construction lines

Hi there, continuing on my training with Medusa4 Personal using TurboCAD tutorials. So far I have only been able to draw curves and curved slotted curves by tracing lines (using Smart Drafting) over construction lines and circles. Then deleting the construction circles. Was wondering if there are ot...

Re: Looking for Help in german

Hi guy's, on my posts for Windows OS (2015) I used Google Translate in hopes of getting help from the German speaking Medusa4 Personal users. I am sure it doesn't translate perfectly, I was just wondering if the messages are understandable. Hallo Kerl, auf meine Beiträge für Windows-Betriebssysteme ...

Medusa4 conversion of TurboCAD drawing

Second posting, got kick off the first time. Anyway, I have attached three drawings, the first is a TurboCAD tutorial drawing that I use to help learn Medusa4 Personal. The other two pictures show how TurboCAD use's the tool "Object Trim" to make a curved corner. You can also use arc's in TC. This i...

Re: Edit Line Tools greyed out

Discovered this morning that you need to have a item (element) selected, then right click and select edit, the icons will activate.

Re: Elliptical shapes

Problem solved, in fact I feel kind of stupid. But then again I am new to Medusa4. Also the icon above the Box tool, looks almost like a circle to me. And I couldn't find any mention of any ellipse tool in the index of the Drafting manual (PDF or online) considering that the tool is at the top of th...

Re: Elliptical shapes

Hi Mike, I am just using my 2D and 3D training books for TurboCAD to learn more about Medusa4. Some people might think is is the hard way, but like programming, I find trial and error more interesting. Besides you can only learn so much with the few video's online. And I haven't seen any written (PD...

Elliptical shapes

Using Medusa4 Personal 5.2.1. I noticed there is not a 2D tool for Ellipse's that I could see. I do have 80 % of my Line editing tools greyed out, is this normal for the Personal version. Would like to be able to make an Elliptical where you can adjust the Major and minor axis distances.

Re: Edit Line Tools greyed out

I went and re-did the drawing starting out with Smart Drafting. Took 2-3 try's to get the hang of using the Alt. key combo to get the Length and Angle (set to 0, 90, 180 and 270).

Edit Line Tools greyed out

Hi there, I am doing some TurboCAD 2D / 3D tutorials on Medusa4 Personal. In the screenshot I am trying to remove the bottom line section on the two boxes. I started with a rectangle, used offset construction lines and the line tool to make the two boxes. I know I could have used Smart Drafting, but...
