Hi all,
I'm new to Medusa4 and have ran into a problem that I cannot set the Datum on a 3D drawing to properly unfold a pan I drew up. I try to set the bottom of the pan as the datum to have the sides unfold, but no matter what I try, the best I get is all 4 sides unfolded into one piece with the bottom disappeared. The error I get is that the Datum text is not on a face.
Can anyone help me understand what I'm doing wrong. I have attached the file I'm working with.
Thanks in advance!
Ben

Hi all,
Is there really nobody who can help me along with this? It might be obvious to some but I'm stuck right now. I would really appreciate the help
Thank you,
Ben

Re: 3D setting Datum
Unfortunately for you not many people use Medusa Sheet Metal, and not many people read this forum. It's over 25 years since I last used SMD, but I'll try to have a look at your drawing later this week (now that I've jumped through all the hoops to install Medusa on a new Linux machine...).

I have downloaded your sheet, and it is just a default empty drawing. Can you upload a copy of the one that has the problem?
