Medusa License for 2001200

Post by dchriste » Fri Apr 19, 2002 1:03 pm

Can we still use our license that we had for Medusa 2001100?
Because I see some changes in the license Directory. Can we use the old EPD or do we have to use the new CSG etc...... ???

To run MEDUSA 2001_200 you need a new license file from CSG. EPD will not work.

Here's some excerpts from the info file provided by CAD Schroer:

What is different?
The DEAMON is now called CSGLMD instead of EPD.
The required Software is now located in the MEDUSA-Product MEDSYS under
\medsys\med\license\ on all platforms, and not under c:\cvswlm\epd

What does this mean ?
You will need to request a new Keyfile.
The new Keyfile system can not be started in parallel to the existing EPD system.
The previous MEDUSA versions do not run under the new CSGLMD-Keyfile system.
If you would like to test the new MEDUSA version parallel, please request a “Feature-Based-Demo"-Keyfile.
That will enable you to test the new version for a limited time without having to start the CSGLMD-Daemon.

If several MEDUSA versions have to run in parallel over a longer period of time, it is possible, in an individual case, to configure a joint Keyfile with both DAEMONS.
