Error running medconfig

Post by costi0 » Sun Oct 10, 2010 9:52 am

Hi,
I've downloaded and installed the version 4.0 personal of medusa on Linux Mint 9 (Isadora9) based on Ubuntu 10.04. The installation went fine. Medusa is OK. When I try to run medconfig I get this error:
mx: application /opt/medusa4_personal_v4_0/medsys/med/run/mxe_config failed to start

Thanks for help.

Error running medconfig

The current release of medusa perosnal is not suitable for Ubuntu 10.04. I think you will find some instructions on the internet to make it work. I hope that there´s a new version just around the corner. This one will hopefully support Ubuntu 10.10 otu of the box.

Error running medconfig

I found the same problem running medconfig on windows XP. The error reported was:

mx: fork failed

mx: no escape route

mx: panic shutdown invoked

It seems that a process named mx wants to run mxe_config. But mxe_config is not present on medusa installation
