Medusa Medconfig

Post by Bernie » Tue Feb 08, 2011 3:48 pm

Hello,
I have just installed "Medusa4" on my personal PC which turns under WINDOWS 7.
The usage of Medusa is strictly reserved for my personal applications.
Regrettably, for a reason which I ignore, I do not manage to start MEDCONFIG.

Please find below the detail of the transactions and received messages:

Do I understand it right, that you can't start MEDUSA4 PL on Windows 7?

Do you have a Keyfile?
Maybe you have registered your keyfile with a wrong MAC adress?

I am able to start Medusa and work with it.

The problem occurs when I try to run MEDCONFIG.bat in order to configure a Medusa project with the ADMINISTRATOR rights (CF MEDUSA4 Administration user guide page13 to 34).

On the other hand, I assume that I have selected the right MAC adress, but not sure.
I fact I entered the following command to define it:

quote

C:\Users\BerFas>getmac

Adresse physique Nom du transport
=================== ==========================================================
D0-27-88-1B-B3-4F \Device\Tcpip_{CC97B91A-ACDB-4873-AD39-434F914E29A3}
00-15-83-35-C3-E3 Support déconnecté

The MAC adress I took into account to request the licence file was "D0-27-88-1B-B3-4F"

Am was right?

Thanks for your help.

I do not think medconfig is supplied for the personal version. Most customisation are not supported so there is no need to build another project than the master_project built by the install
