importing

A friend of mine uses Autocad. He send me some file DWG and DXF to be precise but Medusa refuses to import it. The only notice I get about this is : No output written by converter program.
So what does this mean?

Thanks, Will.

printing in linux

Hi Bambuko,

I am running Medusa4 on Kubuntu 8.10 and printing works good here. In the printer section it says that it prints to "qtplot" and at first I thought that this was wrong, but just tried it.
So after waiting a few seconds it came out my printer nice and crispy.
Hope this helps a bit?

Copy/paste

Hi, This weekend while working with Medusa4 I did some copy and pasting. The first time it worked great, but when I selected copy on another object and wanted to paste it, the first copied object came up again. After trying it a few times it still didn't work so I had to restart the program in order...

Dimensioning (but actually changing the length)

Pierre, Thanks for your answer, as you said it works. At least, as long as you made the walls indeed as a long box. The only problem now is that I made walls out of several lines and then your method doesn't work. So I am trying to get the "wall lines" connected to one another so they are seen as a ...

Dimensioning (but actually changing the length)

Hi jwhendy, I see you haven't gotten an answer yet and I am trying to get this answer too. What I am trying to do is placing a door in a wall segment, so I need to cut out a piece of wall in my 2d drawing and place a door in it, with precise measurements but I've gone all over the manual, tried seve...
